About Feesh

Feesh is a minimalist arcade game where you play as a tiny microorganism that resembles a fish. The mechanic is simple; eat smaller feesh to get bigger, and avoid being eaten by bigger feesh. Certain feesh have special abilities; Red ones make you smaller, and the jellyfeesh can sting you. Survive long enough, and you'll evolve! But try not to get naturally selected. And watch out for sharks.
 • Some feesh are more rude than others. Observe the behaviors of the different types of feesh to find out what they do! Or just find out the hard way.
 • Uses Steam Leaderboards! See how you rank against other players in the food chain
 • Controller support! Or the game can be played using just the mouse!
 • 2-4 player competitive mode!
 • Chillout mode! Just chill and watch the game play itself in this ambient mode.

✦ AI summary

Players enjoy this affordable agar.io-style fish-eating game for its charming aesthetic and addictive core concept, though many find it undermined by frustrating design flaws. Common complaints center on excessive shark spawning, slippery controls, poor visibility, and difficulty escaping danger once cornered, which make progression feel more dependent on luck than skill. While some dismiss the difficulty as manageable, others view these issues as fundamental problems that detract from an otherwise fun premise.

I like eating. Swordfish is op. Sharks are crazy, JAWS achievement is very much impossible.

Similar to agar.io. Eat or be eaten. The complains about the second level in the negative reviews are just skill issues. Is not that hard at all. Nice for a dollar.

While the idea is functional, the execution leaves more than a bit to be desired, and I'd consider it to be flawed on a fundamental leveldue to the following... Demerits: - Narrow FOV, and no danger indicator means something as simple as moving is based on getting lucky, and not running into something that spawned off-screen. - Nothing is in-place to make sure you can escape any danger: the last life I tried to play saw me losing both lives immediately after one another, due to being boxed in by a larger-than-me Minus Feesh, and a hoard of sharks - On that topic: sharks spawn way too often, and no limit is seemingly present on how many can be on-map at once. Given they - The Slippery controls also help nothing, with the entire game feeling like you're on-ice - Confusing scale means sometimes you'll die to something imperceptably larger, and sometimes, you're the larger feesh. - All of this means I only got to the 5th evolution once, and that was the round I lost the lives in a row. - Very annoying having to restart from the beginning on Arcade Mode, as the first evolution is very slow. What a fantastic little game. You've probably played something very similar before. I love the chosen aesthetic and the variations in enemy and consumable fishees are unique. Great job for a little 48 hour game! I'm into it.
