Players find Fiora Arc to be an unfocused experience that prioritizes abstract aesthetics over functional gameplay, with confusing objectives, disjointed progression, and mandatory controller requirements that frustrate PC gamers. While some appreciate the gentle music and visual atmosphere, most feel the game lacks meaningful content or consequences, playing more like an unpolished tech demo than a complete game.

Requires controller Lacks every single thing a game needs, Okay, that's cruel, it lacks a lot, but it least it has glow. It has gentle music, gentle physics and cool scenery, although all of these get tired after a minute. You can do stuff, but nothing of consequence at all. Basically a unity demo someone wasted $100 to publish.3 found this helpful

As a free game, you wouldn't be losing out on anything by giving it a try... maybe your experience is better than mine. My experience was very disjointed. Things jumped from one thing to the next without explanation, until I figure I made it through the... "story" and then was thrown into a space where large pillars dropped on me and a shadowy figure threatened me. I wasn't able to figure out what the game wanted me to do at this point... I kept seeing what appeared to be a countdown until I was thrown into the air... hit the ground... and it started all over again. Maybe I just don't understand. Thanks anyways! ~ Stormcrow 🦅1 found this helpful
"Fiora Arc" is a weird "more art than game" "experience", an Unreal based tech demo of sorts, an adventure game where you're threatened by a cardigan (it's trying so hard to be surrealist and failing). Now it's true games can be art. Art is where the pinnacle of talent and creativity and skill and craftsmanship all meet. That's not what's happening here. See, if the Mona Lisa was drawn in crayon on a bit of newspaper, she wouldn't be hanging in the Louvre now, would she? No. What do you do in the game? Weird surreal and disjointed adventuring. And the "developer" despises PC gamers and demands you must use a console peasant childrens toy controller to play this... insulting and unacceptable. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's go…
