This game should be for free. Even then I would never play it ever again.

Very boring, Bland color scheme. Low quality poly graphics and its not even a gimmick. No high scores. I really don't mind games like this. In fact I spend most my time playing indie arcade games like this. But if you are not paying me in Neopoints to do this over I would be hard pressed to replay this ever again. The best part about this game is 200 year old music by Bach. The only reason to get this game would be for achievements and Steam cards.

Flight of the Paladin, developed and published by Grizzly Wolf Games LLC, is a compact top-down arcade shooter that draws heavily from classic design sensibilities. It places players in control of a lone holy warrior cutting through waves of enemies in a dark fantasy setting, emphasizing reflexes, positioning, and survival over narrative or progression depth. From the outset, it feels like a deliberate throwback—fast, immediate, and focused almost entirely on moment-to-moment action rather than long-term systems. The gameplay revolves around constant forward movement and directional combat. The paladin advances while enemies swarm from multiple sides, forcing players to manage positioning carefully and react quickly to incoming threats. One of the defining aspects of the combat system is its directional limitation; attacks are not fully flexible, which means that awareness of enemy positioning becomes critical. This design creates tension, as players must constantly adjust their movement to line up attacks while avoiding damage. It adds a layer of strategy to what might otherwise be a straightforward shooter, though it can also feel restrictive when enemies approach from angles th…

It's fine for what it is, which is a simplistic dodge-and-shoot game with some unique mechanics but no depth. You fire a shot and hold it down to spawn a shield while avoiding walls that will instakill your character. There's three bosses and that's basically it. The main game can be completed in five minutes, survival mode takes a bit longer but I finished everything in less than two hours. Totally forgettable and simple but there's nothing wrong with it, and the creative commons classical music feels cheap but acceptable. I wouldn't spend more than a buck on it.

So bad

This was not what I expected! While fun for a few minutes, it gets frustrating and repetitive very fast. If you're an achievement perfectionist, stay away.
