About The Elomont Raider

Commit. Dodge. Strike.
In The Elomont Raider, you move instantly with WASD, but once you attack, you can’t move until the action finishes—and enemies follow the same rule.
It’s a classic arcade-style challenge built around timing, openings, and clean execution.Key Features
  • Commit-to-attack combat: attacking locks movement—choose your moment, then make it count.
  • Simple controls, real depth: left click for basic attack, right click for a special skill—each weapon has two forms.
  • Readable patterns (not full-screen chaos): projectiles and AoE threats that reward positioning and patience.
  • Retro fantasy vibes: goblins, demons, and diabolical monsters with classic round-bullet visuals.
  • Nostalgia collectibles: open chests to find “memory icons” like game consoles, comics, sneakers, and trophies—small reminders of better days.
  • Arcade-first pacing: quick retries, tight stages, and boss fights that test your timing.
Background
A modern adult, exhausted by life, is pulled into a strange magical world—one that feels like the fantasies he dreamed of as a kid.
Fight forward, recover fragments of memory, and find your way back.

This game pays respect to the classic era feel and difficulty. The gameplay is a simple top down shooter reminescent of older rpg games but with hellfire. It sort of reminds me of ys origin. The enemies are unique and varied, the game is really fast paced and requires you to adapt quickly. You will die many times! But it rewards you with a fiery desire to try again. If you are from the 80s 90s or just like retro difficulty I would recommend!

Okay Im just starting out, but this is very much of some NES games I played as a kid. Its a Fun little thing and seems well worth the 6.99 for the game. Plus there are nice little Easter eggs to find. I see myself playing many hours of this.
