About Flip

Flip is a a puzzle game for your eyes and your brain. It has a simple and easy to understand mechanic, but the possible combinations on each puzzle will require deep thinking to solve them in the minimum number of moves. Play just to chill out or to exercise your brain.

It contains four puzzle types designed to challenge your perception in different ways:
 • Simple: match the colors in as few moves as possible.
 • Sided: match both colors and orientations.
 • Wired: untangle the puzzle! Follow the cable to find the correct position.
 • Image: reconstruct the image form the broken parts.

Puzzles are solved by matching the correct order for the pieces. Each solved puzzle earns stars, which are used to unlock further levels and puzzle types.

Some puzzles types require you to pay attention not only to the colors and symbols, but also to the orientation of the pieces. Others types will provide different visual clues.

There are 25 Achievements to unlock, you will need to master all puzzles and levels to collect them.

a formerly paid puzzler that went free a couple of years after its 2016 release. the clue's in the name, mouse-based rotating to recreate patterns shown on top, ideally in the set number of moves. the button has to be held, can't click, move the mouse, then click again. not ideal. there are 4 puzzle types (see below), each with multiple levels. unfortunately, only the first two for the first type are unlocked at the beginning, everything else needs stars. 25 total opens the first level everywhere and it can be had in a matter of minutes, and by the time you perfect the two initial ones with very little effort, almost half the game will be unlocked. could be worse. each level contains a certain number of puzzles for the same pattern, all to be done in one move, for instance. there are about 1500(!) puzzles total, probably every iteration, and while there's a certain flow to the whole thing, less would definitely have been more. asking to do 100 of almost everything is way too much. then random mode unlocks after perfecting each pack, offering even more configurations. on smaller levels there's not much variety to begin with and it's not possible to re-do the default …

You much flip and switch two/multiple pieces to match a pattern or make the piece go in ascending order in the minimum number of moves possible which is one less then total pieces.
