This free train simulator offers high-quality 4K footage and is playable with keyboard controls, making it accessible to players without the specialized MasCon PRO controller. However, players note it's a stripped-down port with limited content (one train type, roughly 75km of track), arcade-style gameplay rather than a realistic simulation, and was primarily designed as a tech demo. For those curious about train sims on a budget, it serves as a decent introduction, though more robust alternatives from the same developer are recommended for serious enthusiasts.
It's, essentially, a stripped-down PC port of Odakyu Romancecar on Switch, limiting you to the titular Romancecar on about 75km of track with maybe 7 or 8 stops. It *is* playable with keyboard, and you can simulate the one-handle on a controller with Steam Input configs, but really it was meant to be a tech demo for the Zuiki MasCon PRO, which hasn't received a wide release yet. I recommend Sonic Powered's other train simulators instead of this one, but if you want to give train simulators a try and don't have $8.99 to drop, this is good enough.
