This game is so unique and so much fun! A true hidden gem that needs more recognition. You have to build cat-proof forts to read a book! That's basically it. But there are more secrets and a grandma? (Anyhow, if they make a mobile port from this, they would be rich)

Fort Meow is a very cute game that's basically the inverse of Angry Birds. Each level you build an increasingly complicated fort out of spare furniture to prevent leaping cats from interrupting your study time. Short, fun story with a nice amount of depth. The stakes are low, so it comes across as a much more pleasant endeavor than many tower defense games. Nice one to share with friends.

Fort Meow is a small but wonderfully imaginative puzzle adventure that takes the familiar childhood activity of building furniture forts and transforms it into a physics-driven defensive challenge. Developed and published by Upper Class Walrus, the game follows Nia, a young girl visiting her grandmother's unusual old manor. After discovering her grandfather's journal in the attic, she attempts to read it, only to find herself repeatedly assaulted by an absurd army of cats. Her solution is equally ridiculous and practical: construct increasingly elaborate forts from whatever household objects she can find. The basic gameplay revolves around preparing a defensive structure before another group of cats arrives. Players arrange furniture and miscellaneous household items around Nia, attempting to create something sturdy enough to absorb the incoming feline attacks. Because the objects interact through physics, simply stacking everything into a wall is not necessarily the best strategy. Poorly supported furniture can topple over, openings can expose vulnerable sections, and a structure that appears secure may collapse spectacularly after a particularly troublesome cat hits it.
