how dare you make me cry over a puzzle game. its so beautiful. 10/10

Frocat Puzzles is a really relaxed little puzzle game that feels like it was made to give me a quiet place to sit for a while. The main idea is simple. I am putting together hand made pictures piece by piece, with each puzzle revealing another illustration and a small piece of information about the world. The game uses a fantasy setting filled with strange hybrid animals, and I think the cute artwork gives it more personality than a normal jigsaw game. It is also completely free, although it is still in Early Access, so I know I am playing something that is not finished yet. The artwork is probably the main reason I enjoy it. The puzzles are made from illustrations created by Ukrainian artists, and each one has its own music and atmosphere. I like that the pictures are not just generic puzzle images because there is clearly some effort going into giving each one its own look. I can take my time putting everything together and then see the finished illustration properly. The music also helps because every puzzle has its own track, which makes the whole thing feel more like a small collection of illustrated stories than a basic puzzle program. Its an ok picture puzzle game with a bit clunky menus, UI and controls, but gets a 3/5 from me.
