✦ AI summary
ForeFront is praised as an excellent VR shooter that successfully captures the Battlefield experience with intuitive controls, well-balanced classes, diverse vehicle gameplay, and a surprisingly social community thanks to proximity chat. Players appreciate the training area, frequent updates, and crossplay functionality, though some feel certain weapons like the one-shot bow are overpowered and detract from the game's military theme.
"No VR Device Detected" I am unable to play the game since launch because of this error, it has been an issue since last december and is a reported bug. I am using a Vive Pro 2 with a wireless mod and suspect its because the display is being routed through my CPU to the WiGig card. so, im an idiot. I figured it out. when I installed SteamVR I followed steams's instructions and set it to the default OpenXR. The fixes for this issue all say to do that too, but for this particular headset, (even wired, the wireless mod had nothing to do with it) you HAVE to use the version of OpenXR it downloads when you install the software for it. It installes a custom version of the platform that is only for 64 bit and probably does something under the hood to make the headset compatible with games. DO NOT change the openXR setting if you have a Vive Pro 2! If you DID change the setting, you will have to purge every piece of vive and steamvr from your pc and then do a DDU clean install of your graphics drivers to make it work again. Here is all of the locations of things you have to delete after uninstalling everything through steam and your pc's installed app page: C:\Users\PCbox\AppData\Lo…1 found this helpful
Barely played but have had more fun than I have had in any other game without playing with friends, genuinely a realistic and fun game
best vr game ever
Battlefield on VR. Good fun, high skill celling
Just a great game innit.
Fantastic game. Great performance. If you like battlefield and vr, don’t hesitate to pick it up. Would love the ability to ping/mark general locations. Would love the ability to slowly revive regardless of class. Quick defib with medic and slow revive with any class.
