Frogs is a small free to play collecting game that mixes clicking, idle progression, farming and some simple combat. I spend most of my time collecting different frogs, improving my farm and building up my collection so I can make progress faster. There is also a cave where I can fight enemies and destroy crystals, which gives me something more active to do when I am not just collecting things. It is a very simple game, but I think the frog collecting idea gives it enough personality to make the basic loop work. The collecting is probably the part I enjoy most. I can find different frogs and equip the stronger ones to increase how quickly I progress. There are mythical and legendary frogs, so getting something better gives me a reason to keep checking what I can collect next. I can also sell frogs through the game's market system, which gives the collection another use instead of making every duplicate completely pointless. The farm upgrades help the numbers grow faster too, so there is a constant feeling that I am slowly building towards something better.
