Gamble Your Breath, developed by Alice Games and published by Devotıon Labs, is a tightly focused indie title that builds its entire identity around a deceptively simple but deeply stressful premise: your survival depends on how well you can manage risk in a system that constantly tempts you to push your luck. Set within a confined, suffocating environment, the game immediately establishes a tone of unease, where every decision feels weighted and every action carries the possibility of irreversible consequences. Idea is good, execution very unpolished. Curency seems pretty unbalanced, the mechanic with cards that unlock card slots doesn't work at all.

I didn't know what i expected for the price. The gambling mechanics are uninteresting. There is no meta-progression, no real synergies except "boost probability of a symbol" and "increase the symbols value". Feels like a poor mans Clover Pit. I couldn't even get to the horror aspect of the game. You cannot change your mouse sensitivity (or rather "sensibility" as its called in options) in the pause menu so you have to exit to main menu. When I done that, my save vanished. Buggy, uninteresting game.

Honestly, I don't write reviews, but this was terrible. Game crashes even know I can run Fortnite, Overwatch and another game all at once without an issue. It glitches where I have to exit to menu and load back in, but then my debt is 0 and I can't pay it or exit. I finally exited the room to "find the puzzle" but then my game froze and I went to the menu to load my save, but my save was empty. This game has wayyyy too many bugs and I support the idea (Clover Pit inspiration) but it needs to be refined big time. Also, the card options plus mail is just not exciting or rewarding enough. Fun while it lasted, but I don't even want to try and win again. Very frustrating. Oh forgot to mention the symbols percentage for showing up doesn't make sense. I had a 5% chance for a bad symbol and an 18% chance for a good symbol but the bad symbols come up more? That happened with all my symbols.

FINALLY someone combined my FAVORITE things. My love for gambling and my love for horror.
