二狗子历险记 (2021)

"二狗子历险记" is another RPG Maker asset flip. It's not in English, but that's okay, the language of bad games is universal, and Steam gamers know, RPG Maker games are never good. Because RPG Maker sucks. It's a construction kit designed to be so simple (and shallow) that even kids can use it (Kadokawa's words, not mine). So it's no surprise to anyone that this garbage Final Fantasy ripoff machine churns out endless numbers of absolutely valueless games. This one is "free", so at least it's slightly less insulting. Slightly. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics (because the developer just ripped off a bunch of stock RPG Maker assets). This looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good.
