About Fell & Sell
Fell & Sell is a stylized first-person roguelike where you venture into dungeons and forests to harvest materials and monsters, then return to your shop to craft gear, decorate your space for combat bonuses, and ruthlessly price your inventory to maximize profits. The twist is that your business success depends equally on sword-swinging skill, strategic pricing, and bold risk-taking—lose your haul to death and you lose everything, but push deeper for rarer loot and legendary builds that transform your playstyle.
Step into a fast-paced 3D first-person hack'n'slash roguelike shopkeeper where your business success relies just as much on how hard you can swing a sword and how fast you can run as your trading skills.
Your inventory costs blood, sweat, and steel. If you are reading this, you haven’t been slaughtered by a skeleton (yet?)—congratulations!Study these sacred tenets to survive the dungeon depths, forge shop fixtures, and ruthlessly price your way to the top.Step through the doors behind your shop into a descending roguelike nightmare, or head to the local forest to forage.
- The Dungeon Demands a Toll: Carve your way through hordes of skeletons and monstrous foes. The deeper you go, the rarer the loot. But beware: if you die, you lose your entire unbanked haul.
Do you secure the bag and head home, or risk it all for a legendary drop?
- Crazy Build Potential: Find dungeon altars to alter your playstyle radically. Shrink down to a tiny size to dodge massive attacks, use the Midas Touch to melt heavy items into gold, or cycle through manic and depressed combat states to keep enemies guessing!
- Survive the Living Forest: Nature has a mind of its own. Adapt on the fly to goblin raiding parties, sudden thunderstorms, and the mind-bending chaos of psychedelic mushroom season.
- Gear Up: Forge stronger weapons and craft tougher armor so you can push even deeper into the dungeon on your next run.
- Check the Quest Board: Survived expedition? Make sure you stop by the local Quest Board to turn feats you've achieved during your expedition into gold, gear, and items.
- Decorate (for Combat): Build specialized decor to customize your space. Your interior design isn't just cosmetic; the right furniture layout provides permanent combat buffs for your next dive and boosts your shop's overall sales appeal.
- Ruthless Economics: You control the tags. Read the market to set prices based on current supply, demand, your shop’s prestige, and your decoration bonuses.
Find the sweet spot—price too high and goods gather dust; price too low, and you go bankrupt. - Grow Your Business: Take your massive profits and reinvest. Transform your humble roadside cabin into the ultimate mercantile powerhouse.

What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Fell & Sell is a sandbox game with engaging mechanics and genuine potential that players find addictive, though opinions split on its combat system—some find it boring or frustratingly difficult, while others enjoy the challenge once they improve. The core gameplay loop appeals to players who appreciate creative freedom and modding possibilities similar to Rimworld, though the game is relatively short and would benefit from more content, dungeons, and enemy variety.
I was originally not going to recommend this game as I rage quite after loosing my hard earned gear on death multiple times. But I powered through, got better and started to enjoy it. The game juddered a lot on my laptop but apart from that was a fun little gem.
Combat is boring, game is to hard
Very fun sandbox game. Not very difficult, but my favorite game of all time, Portal, was not difficult and that was part of what made it amazing. Tons of potential for expansion I could see on this one. Could you eventually design your own dungeons? Could there be multiplayer in the future? Can you design your own gear to sell (similar to how Steam allowed users to create cosmetic items for TF2?). Could you design your own bases to sell? I would personally tone down more of the anime and/or World of Warcraft weapons and cosmetic looks, but theoretically with mods I could make this game look however I want. My analogy would be to Rim World. A blank canvas to mod to your heart's content.
I like it
Love the game, real addicting, short so far though. Beat it in about 15 Hours, some of it was AFK. This game is great, I want more content, more dungeons, enemies and items so I have reason to keep playing. This game is amazing and if they add a lot more rooms, levels, enemies, and fix up the forest a bit this game would be a contender for my favorite. Best 10 I've spent this month.
my only issue with the game is how enemies approach and attack. Why in the hell do enemies want to occupy the same space your in to the point where you cant block some of their attacks because they are literally in you. Other than combat, the game is great.
