Gear Gauntlet is a fun but rage inducing 2D action arcade game from Drop Dead Interactive.
Test your patience through ever more punishing gauntlets while boosting, teleporting, reversing and rotating to survive. Use your reflexes to break through coloured barriers and earn your place on the leaderboard.
Beautiful hand drawn art and a wonderful soundtrack accompany your descent into fury, but do try to remain calm!

This game looked fun and unique. I saw the reviews and found that Windows Central rated it 4/5 for the XBox. So for under $5 I decided to give it a try....and I'm glad I did. Frantic, Crazy, Chaotic, Frustrating. I kept dying....and dying....and dying. But, I kept trying....and trying....just one more level...one more....one more. Crazy Fun Game....even has a global leaderboard.7 found this helpful
interesting game, for about 10 minutes.6 found this helpful
Gear Gauntlet is a console ported 2D endless runner. There's no platforming mechanics here, instead you simply move up and down (and backwards and forwards) as the screen flies by. If ]you get stuck against a wall when it scrolls off screen, you die. If you survive, you "win", although perhaps "winning" here is generous. You play a cog spinning wildly, which is probably entertaining for someone but not sure who. What do you want to be when you grow up? A cog! Technically the game has a lot of issues that fall below minimum required standard for PC. The console port is badly done. While the game runs smoothly, you have fixed resolution and can't remap your controls. Developers need to learn the PC is not another console, and not every PC gamer has an Xbox gamepad plugged in. $7 is an unforgivable price to charge for a bad console port, especially when they're competing at the very bottom of the gaming ecosystem against games like Flappy Bird and Temple Runner.3 found this helpful
