making my heart-pump -- i'm not typically into extraction shooters, but its stunning

Heart warming game with full of absolutely awesome memories. Games like these are not released often. Skilled movement PvP, decent puzzles & ok PvE. Would kill compiler again.

This game is genuinely really addicting and fun, picked it up yesterday and was hooked ALL day. The game is REALLY hardcore though, so if that's a turn off for you, maybe wait for the PvE gamemode to come out this December.

Marathon is good game, full stop. Coming from Destiny 2, I didn't think I would enjoy an extraction shooter at all, but because it was Bungie's new project, I thought I'd check it out. After playing the Server Slam, I was hooked. If there is one thing Bungie is consistently good at, its gunplay. When Destiny was at its lowest, the guns still felt crisp and satisfying to shoot. Marathon is the same. I can't describe the feeling I get from both Marathon's and Destiny's gunplay other than crisp and rewarding. Its addicting. Is the game for everyone? Absolutely not. Marathon is a pretty hardcore extraction shooter at the end of the day. Is the hate for Marathon unreasonable? Yes. People want to see this game fail, just so that the "Concord Trilogy" can be complete. Constant doom posting about Steam player count means nothing. The core community of the game is great. Helpful, friendly, but still competitive. Active development is still underway, and Bungie is listening to the community and has a roadmap for the next year and promises to continue the game beyond that. Marathon isn't a dead game. A dead game doesn't get the kind of promises Bungie is making.

itrs an extraaction shooter with very high stakes. gives me tat amped up feelling with every infill. its like how i felt on patrol in the marines no joke. this isnt a childrens game, and that is ok bc its not supposed to be. its the best gacme i have played in a long time in the fps genre. i like hardcore mmos but they are a dying bred nothing really has any "weight to it in games now. people cry if they die an dlose their items ... thatswhat makes the game worth playing it has a sence of urgency and reeward that is unmatched. i live for puttimg it all on the line. im so glad i found this game. and the story... i am obsessed i want to know everything about tau ceti 4
