About Geobeast
Do you think you’re good at geography?Put your knowledge to the test with Geobeast.The concept is simple: find as many countries on the world map as possible before time runs out.
At the end of each game, your score is recorded, allowing you to compete with players worldwide through the global Steam leaderboard.
Strategy is the key.

Normal Mode
The default competitive mode in Geobeast.- Each country found earns 1 point
- 12 minutes to find as many as possible
- Accuracy, memory, and speed make the difference
Jumbo Mode
The fun and strategic mode.- A score multiplier system is introduced
- Find a country, then a neighboring country to double your points
- A third neighboring country triples the score, and so on
- 12 minutes to score as many points as possible

This game is so unbearably choppy and slow when moving around the map. The game cannot go into fullscreen. When playing round some of the words are not in the language I selected. Cabo Verde is Cape Verde. In hangman mode, the flag for Eritrea is wrong. This game is basically laggy seterra with less game modes, and locking capitals behind a paywall.1 found this helpful
FYI: If a country is connected (a territory) of another country, then it counts as one and the same For example, if you type France then that also includes French Guinea and some countries in the Caribbean. [strike] I know this from personal experience cause I tried to type in French Guinea and it was counted as a miss [/strike] It would be nice to see more modes added in the future like guessing the names of capital cites or another flag related one but for now I've definitely have been having fun; [b] it's a solid free to play game [/b]. If you're someone who enjoys Social Studies (or just geography), this game is worth trying out. [i] I've been playing this on a laptop and it's been running just fine [/i]

I love this game i played it on windows but could you add support for linux pls.
fun game, i recommend
I highly recommend this for anyone who already knows their country geography or wants to get better at it. The newly added Hangman mode is a great way to learn and reinforce country names, while the other modes are perfect for putting your knowledge to the test.
