Everything here is a bit of banter on this VERY newly released game, and I know it is in early access, but this is also for the developers. As the developers updates this game. This review will be updated and edited, with the changes in the top of this review. Makes it easier for everyone i guess.
Updates, 1 March 2025:
I see we are still rocking the Unity icon. I think at this point that is a tradition. I am still greated in French in the tutorial: Press (space) pour passer Oui, chef. I guess you really want me to embrace my inner Parisian. On the bright side. The tutorial exists. It's a bit roguh, but it's an improvement. Would be even better if it actually ENSURED that you completed each step before moving on. Like, log the WASD movement. Also, bloqué is still there in 'Partner Pulse'. At this point, I have simply just accepted that some words are permanently bilingual. Controls: The Eternal Struggle

Left click to unpack a carton? Cool. Left click to place it? Nope.
Dog food is apparently too powerful to be placed on anything else than the upper shelf.
Still can't move diagonally. Feels like I've lost a whole dimensi…

Noted my thoughts from the first minutes of playing. Will be on for longer tomorrow but wanted to test it quick before heading to bed. Mostly improvements suggested below but I do like the premise of building your own shop, and I am looking forward to seeing what updates bring. Will remove any points below that are changed in future patches. Updated 13/03/25 - Cleared a lot of my major gripes in one update! Dev is very receptive to feedback so if you see room for improvement please share specifics.

Customizable keybinds are a big accessibility feature for many players and would be very much appreciated
Very much like the idea of building your shop but the system isn't very intuitive
The "go here" parts of the tutorial aren't really clear, as you essentially have to wander in all directions until you see the distance meter go down
[strike]Many UI elements a mix of French[/strike]
[strike]Settings reset when loading in to new game[/strike[
[strike]Big semi-transparent black box around the tutorial is distracting[/strike]
[strike]Very easy to run out of money when building your initial shop if you aren't keeping track, mainly d…

i really want to play this game, but there's a problem at the first stage of the game because the building you start off with is too small to fit anything in it like the desk, shelf, conveyor belt, that i thought you had to build the building yourself, and the building mode is quite annoying. The trailer for the game shows that you start off with a nice sized building to start with, please sort this out so i can play it.
