Going Your Own Way - Episode One

[b]Tl;dr:[/b] A short parody of "red pill" talking points. Had some funny moments and was priced right. Word of warning in case you didn't read the store page: there is no nudity, sex, or animations in this game. [b]Pros:[/b] + The overall writing and characters were interesting + Some laugh out loud moments + Some interesting choices to make + Priced right for the amount of content [b]Cons:[/b] - I wasn't crazy about the character designs or renders - Music volume can fluctuate [b]Closing Thoughts:[/b] I haven't played many non-sex focused VN's but this one wasn't bad. I think I would have enjoyed it more with better renders and characters. I'm not sure if it's the lighting or maybe it's older generation characters being used but it just didn't click for me. The humor goes a long way; especially if you are already familiar with the "red pill".

I feel for the MC, I really do. In this comi-tragic tale he is cheated-on by his fiance, suffers a repulsive boss who alternates between bullying and sexual harassment, has a pushy mother who wants him to get married and give her grandchildren, goes on the WORST dates ever, and that's just for starters. Then just as things start to look up for him we reach the end of the chapter as it's still early access. Well damn! I hope he gets more content soon!
