Edit: If you want to get all the achievements in this, you can't. Don't buy it for an additional perfect game in your roster. A disclaimer, I dislike football, I got this in a bundle with a bunch of other games, I wouldn't have bought it myself... my mother loves football however and she thinks this looks like ♥♥♥♥, so there's that. The upgrades are ultimately uninteresting, increase run speed, the amount of balls, a very slow increase in currency, That's fine, I guess, not exciting... but fine... More goals... wait, why? I'm kicking harder, the pitch is tiny, what exactly is another goal doing for me? More team members, at a point this is useless too. The prestige upgrade gain is SLOW. You have to win a league, which requires you win multiple games... It's extremely slow going. You'll win most games, you don't have to try. I'm typing this review while I leave it running. Eventually you might start losing... Which doesn't make it more fun, just means that the prestige gain is now even slower... The screen is hideous, not just the interface, with it's extremely thin font and semi transparent selections. But the audience is just a long copy pasted line of people who aren't even lo…

A very shallow incremental game experience. The upgrades are uninspired and the core gameplay loop doesn't significantly change with them. The prestige mechanic is also woefully slow, despite how quickly your ability to overcome leagues grows, and then it plateus quite hard once that limit is reached.

Boring upgrades and gameplay loop. Nothing to do. In each league there is one or two matches that you COULD lose, and if you do, there is no chance to win the league. Boring waiting times between leagues restarting and promotions. First incremental game I will not finish. This one doesn't respect your time at all. Will come back and adjust the rating if something happens.

Surprisingly addictive little idle game! Gold 'n Goal is exactly what a good incremental game should be: easy to pick up, hard to put down. You watch your tiny pixel players hop around the pitch, score goals, and the money just keeps rolling in — and somehow it's incredibly satisfying every single time. Upgrading your team, unlocking powerups and chasing that next crit multiplier creates a really nice "just one more upgrade" loop. A note on the negative reviews: most of them refer to bugs from earlier versions. The developer has been super responsive, and the bugs I encountered have all been patched — the game runs smoothly for me now. Don't let outdated reviews put you off. Perfect game to have running on the side, but be warned: "just 5 minutes" easily turns into an hour. Charming pixel art, great for short sessions. Recommended!
