About Super Sub: World Cup
- Want to score beautiful goals? Upgrade your passes, power, accuracy, curve shots, and more like an incremental game.
- Want to sit back and watch your team do the work? Pick one of the chill modes to just score some nice goals and relax. A mode without any pesky opponents sounds nice, doesn't it?
- Want to tackle the opponent into oblivion? You can! Upgrade fouls to always go in your favor and kick the referee off the field before they can complain.
- Want to really challenge yourself? Play the more advanced game modes---such as the World Cup mode that only has 8 very tough matches---and put your tactical mind to work.
- A suspiciously ball-shaped upgrade tree with 150 upgrades, most of them unique rules and powers.
- Over 50 national teams to play. Each has their own flag, nickname, and special power (if playing that mode).
- A bracket with 28 stages of increasing difficulty to beat. (+A dedicated World Cup mode with 8 themed matches, first group match until the final.)
- You can even choose your perspective (side view or top-down view) or enable settings to make the game easier and more idle.
- 10 game modes: play the chill mode or the challenging one, play without a clock, play with randomized upgrades, or even play without opponents if you want!
- Many (auto-)save slots, many ways to play, and many settings to tweak the experience.

Super Sub: World Cup is a charming incremental sports game that successfully blends accessible gameplay with surprising depth through its progressive unlock system and rule variations. Players praise the fun quick matches, satisfying upgrade mechanics that introduce new gameplay elements gradually, and the ability to play with just a mouse, though some note the initial learning curve can feel overwhelming before the mechanics click. The game offers enough variety and strategic options to keep players engaged beyond the surface level, making it a worthwhile experience for fans of both sports ga
Idle & Incremental Lovers recommends Super Sub: World Cup. SO. MUCH. FUN. Quick matches, easy to play, gameplay-changing upgrades, brand new rules for every match... I had the time of my life! And I only scratched the surface by playing the regular mode... + Please, please, give this game a chance! I first thought it was a worldcup cash-grab, but it turned out to be an absolutely amazing and fun game! + Easy to play with mouse only, keyboard not required. + Game introduces you to a HUGE number of rules and mechanics, but progressively through upgrades and new matches. + Skill tree (or should I say ball-tree?) is an amazing mix of brand new gameplay mechanics (including new subs and football rules) and incremental upgrades. + Audio is amazing, you really feel like you're in the stadium. + 10 game modes, that all feel unique and fun (I can't keep the word "fun" out of my mouth when talking about this game!). +/- So many rules and mechanics that it can feel a bit confusing or overwhelming at times, but you don't have to understand or remember them all to have great fun! *My heart does the wave for this game!* Found this review helpful? Austria has finally won the world cup! Chaotic and lovely little game!
I wanted to give this game a review so It has one ahah but I do actually like it. I played the demo and was a bit confused at first, but got the hang of it quickly. It does and doesnt have a tutorial, there are hints on how to play on the side of a screen and you learn as you go. The upgrade system is confusing and overwhelming in the beginning, but starts to make sense as you play and unlock more. The demo only had one game mode, but the full version has was more ways to play. They also have a lot of countries to select from, I do wish they ad Greece even though they are not playing this year, but maybe we will get more countries down the road. Overall its silly, but skillful game. You can play brainless or with some strategy, they art is cute. I say check the demo and if it fits you, buy the game!
