About FootLOL: Epic Soccer League
We all love soccer – but how badly do you want to win?
FootLOL is the craziest soccer management game you have ever played! Use mines, aliens, cows, guns and other crazy cheats to decimate the opposing team and protect your players. Play against your friends or AI opponents!

As the manager, you’ll take your team through a few training matches on Earth before being unleashed on new planets. During you trip to the stars, you’ll unlock new gadgets, improve your players’ performance, as well as buy new kits and hats for them to wear.
Opponents often use the same tricks you do, so it’s not as simple as knocking the ball in the back of the net. You’ll also need to fulfil the various head-scratching conditions for each level! Thankfully, non-stop action, funny characters and the best arsenal seen in a football game ever are at your service.
Once you’ve finished FootLOL’s tournament mode, you can play against the computer or go online for gripping multiplayer matches.

FootLOL is one of those games that's hard to categorize — it's less a soccer game and more a chaotic real-time strategy where you're lobbing mines, summoning cows, and calling in airstrikes while your stick figure players bumble around the pitch. The first hour or two is genuinely hilarious, especially when you've got meteors raining down while your goalkeeper obliviously daydreams in the six-yard box. The problem is that the novelty wears off pretty fast, and the campaign's objective system — where you're sometimes forced to sabotage your own team to hit a specific scoreline like 4:3 — feels more arbitrary than clever. The unlock grind before you can access the fun chaos in multiplayer is a real buzzkill if you're hoping to jump straight into matches with friends. At a sale price it's worth a couple evenings of dumb fun, but don't go in expecting depth or longevity.
Funny for about 5 minutes. You spam abilities, watch ragdolls flop around and wonder where the actual game went. The joke gets old before halftime.
I have difficulty with games like this one. It feels like it should be a free browser-based game despite costing money, but it’s perfectly serviceable and kind of fun. Most of the abilities feel viscerally good to use. It feels great to wail on the CPU with raining hellfire and an army of Spartan warriors. The silly elements that don’t involve explosions aren’t that funny, so the “LOL” in the title doesn’t feel that apt, but the punishment you can inflict on the players is amusing enough. I want to recommend it because it feels like it delivers on what it advertises. If it’s on sale, you could consider this review a maybe, but there are just too many design shortcomings. The abilities are unbalanced as hell, as you really only need the red card and an obstacle breaker. The CPU is unable to offer any challenge unless it has one of the broken abilities and knows how to spam it. The campaign is ultra-repetitive, and stretched out far too long, with the extra planets being absolute overkill. There are exactly three types of challenge: scoring more goals within a time limit, increasing the gap between your scores to a certain number, and the optional challenge of replicating t…
