For less than a dollar, Gun-Running War Dogs delivers exactly what it promises: a stripped-down Dope Wars-style trading loop where you buy low, sell high, and occasionally gun down anyone who tries to rob you. The buy-sell-upgrade cycle is genuinely addictive in short bursts — watching your profit margins grow and decking out your office with bodyguards and ridiculous furniture has its own charm. That said, once you figure out the optimal strategy, the depth dries up fast, and a few nasty bugs (including a game-breaking error popup in the endgame) can cut your run short in frustrating ways. If you snag it on sale for under a buck and go in expecting a casual clicker with a spreadsheet UI rather than a deep simulation, you'll probably squeeze a few fun hours out of it.

Gun-Running War Dogs by Rotatipyra is a niche indie title that revolves around a morally gray but mechanically straightforward premise: you are not a soldier, but a profiteer operating behind the scenes of conflict, buying and selling weapons to make a fortune. Rather than placing the player directly in combat zones, the game focuses on the economics of war, presenting a stripped-down trading simulation where success depends on timing, pricing, and risk management. It’s a concept that immediately stands out, not because of complexity, but because of how unapologetically it leans into a simple, almost cynical gameplay loop. At the heart of the experience is a buy-and-sell system that functions much like a basic market simulator. Players acquire weapons from various sources, often at fluctuating prices, and then seek out buyers willing to pay more. The early stages of the game can feel surprisingly engaging, as there is a tangible sense of progression tied to building capital and making increasingly profitable deals. Each successful transaction reinforces the loop, creating a steady rhythm of acquisition and resale that taps into the same appeal as incremental or clicker-style games…

Dogs sell guns straight into my brain, I am happy hostage of their lags. Let all explode, I enjoy being dumb corpse with no save.

This will be the first game I've paid for that I've ever deleted from my library. I sell? guns and it says "profit" and when I click it it takes out a loan? Then even if you successfully negotiate a deal they will just kill you anyway,, and when they do you lose literally every last dime? You I guess you're supposed to constantly make small transactions then spend the money stacking 'wealth' in your base. It's just confusing, unenjoyable.... just bad. There's definitely potential. You just lack ways to interact with the game.
