About Gunsmith
✦ AI summary
Build and manage your own arms manufacturing empire, starting from a humble factory and progressing from making basic clothing to producing military hardware, ammunition, and explosives as you unlock licenses and build your reputation. Navigate a complex web of 20+ global clients, political manipulation, and moral choices—deciding whether to accept lucrative black-market deals and influence world conflicts to maximize your profits.
Gunsmith is a industrial management experience where you start your own arms manufacturing company. You begin by inheriting a small factory where you shall start forging your empire.
Acquire licences or don't, to begin making your first military grade items. You will build up your factory by unlocking machines and technologies. You start with very little and the government will not allow you to produce more serious items until your reputation has grown.
Start by making small almost harmless things such as boots, trousers, vests with no armour. Once you start to fulfil these orders you will have the opportunity to unlock licences to expand your empire and make new and deadlier items. Eventually you will be granted a licences to manufacture armour, ammunition, firearms, explosives and the list goes on and on.
Research new technologies and machines that will lead to more complex and usually more dangerous items to manufacture.
Build up a reputation with over 20 clients from around the globe. They may ask for certain items that might not be technically legal. If you choose to do business with such people that's up to you as an arms dealer. They will always offer you a very attractive price. Continue into the political sphere, providing you with the opportunity to manipulate global situations, push politicians into certain ways and cause conflicts on the basis of selling more arms to create even more profit. ( This is by no means inspired by anything that is currently happening in the world today )
It will be up to you as a Gunsmith to overcome all these challenges and dominate the market and make as much profit as possible. How you do this will be up to you. Good Luck...

What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Do not buy this game. The devs have abandoned it. It’s unfinished and has very poor performance. The devs have actively decided against modding support. The players can’t create their own weapons and include them into the game. When they still made updates, they added only new items and machines, but never did what the community asked for. Better optimization for performance and quality of life features the game needs. If you know how to play the game you get an incredible painful repetitive experience. It’s part factory management game, part waiting simulator. After building a factory and setting it on auto sell, you can literally walk away from the game for at least 45 minutes, or as long as you actually want. If you start a new factory before at least 21+ minutes have passed your factory will be unprofitable if you switch instantly to a new plot. The devs also don’t even play their own game, not even for testing. Back in the day when there were still updates, they often released completely untested and unplayable builds. DO NOT BUY! Not even on sale.2 found this helpful

Abandonware left in early access to die. Big F
Dead game good while it lasted
Been following this for years.... the Dev made a lot of money, opened his games studio, got ideas above himself and made other games. then abandoned all of them. Typical early access tale of a clown opening a "games studio" because he had some sales on one good game. CLOWN SHOW HONK HONK
