We're big fans of the Kingdom manga and we wanted to bring that intense tactical battle spirit into our game, where players can outsmart the opponent just like the tacticians in the series. Also, we're taking big inspiration from the from Championship Manager 03/04. Our goal is to create a tactical battles in a manager simulation setting. 
- Prepare Your Strategy: Plan your tactics and formations before each battle in the War League.
- Manage Your Army: Scout for new recruits, train your commanders, and manage resources to strengthen your army.
- Engage in Battles: Command your commanders in tactical battles against other clans. Use your strategic skills to outmaneuver and defeat opponents.
- Progress in the League: Compete in the league to climb the ranks and ultimately become the champion tactician of ancient warfare.

Its an interesting concept. But as others have mentioned there is no substance yet. I had to play around a bit and lost a lot but I have figured out a winning strategy which wins every single game. But its still early access so I am hoping it becomes deeper, always nice to see indie games anyway3 found this helpful
UPDATED REVIEW: The game was a LOT of fun when it was in Early Access. But the final release turned the game from a unique, REALLY fun soccer management/tactical ancients wargame mashup into just another bad ancients wargame. It now plays like one of those $0.99 ex-Bolshevik shovelware titles that all have names like "Epic Battle of War Rage". At least I got my $4.50 of fun out of it BEFORE the developer ruined it while simultaneously raising the price. Man, I wish you all could have played this when it first came out...it was sooooooo cool. =========================== ORIGINAL REVIEW: Ancient/medieval battle games. Soccer management sims. BUYER BEWARE! Lied about updates. Released another crappy broken game. Completely changed this 'game' before dumping it as a 1.0. Check the other reviews. They aren't even describing this game. Clearly fake reviews.2 found this helpful
The music is great and by far the best part of this game. Why do so many leaders have proficiency in a different type than the one they are listed as? It is SO frustrating to spend 500 to scout for a renowned leader only for them to have this issue. Also, there are a LOT of bugs - swapping leaders onto a unit can glitch and cause all sorts of visual issues as well as locking the leader to the unit. Controlling units strategically in battle is very limited to where the game feels like most of what happens is out of your control. There are some good concepts but this game is FAR from fleshed out - cannot recommend.1 found this helpful
