About Hell's 8th Avenue: Miori's Mysterious Notebook

Miori Shihoin, a female detective specializing in investigating anomalies, received a missing persons request one day. Apparently, the individual had disappeared in what is known as 'Illusory 8th Street.'When Miori arrives at the entrance herself, she discovers that it is a cursed place that traps those with spiritual powers in an endless loop. To break the loop, she must reach 8th Street by pushing forward. How long will it take her to escape Illusory 8th Street? Can she make it out without being broken herself? You play as Miori Shihoin, a detective stuck navigating the cursed streets. To progress, use your observational skills to detect anomalies - if one is present, pass under the overpass; if not, continue forward. Each mistake sends Miori back to the start. To escape, you must make all the right choices in a row. This game tests your attention to detail with anomalies ranging from the obvious to the obscure. Stay vigilant, or expect to get punished for your mistakes!

Quick Time Events

A fun QTE minigame with beautifully animated scenes is in this game! Dispel each anomaly you find with a QTE (which can be adjusted or turned off if you don't feel like they are your style). With each QTE failure, Miori becomes more and more restrained.

Time Attack

Challenge yourself to see how fast you can complete "Purification Mode"! Can you find all the anomalies before time runs out?

Auto-Save

The game will save your current progress automatically, so you don’t have to worry if you accidentally quit without saving.

I like anomaly search games and this game generally did not disappoint me. Especially counting that this game was created using RPG Maker. This the first such game I've met, created with this tool Duration of game about couple of hours, so, as for me, full price is high a little bit but it can be bought during the sales. Special content depends on which exact anomaly you've lost. It looks like a good idea. Variety of content is not big, but acceptable. But again, as for me, game is playable even without it.To be honest in the most cases I just quckly scrolled it. In my opinion it worth time spent especially if you buy it during the bargain

Memorize the best you can in the porlogue then "spot the difference"/"spot the anomaly". Playing as a female protagonist, who also happens to be adorable! Those who want to get the spicy sauce can get the "H patch", a quick Google search will wield the map that leads you to the treasure!

This game has two major parts - gameplay and art (CG scenes). Gameplay is basically memorizing what you see and then finding what changed. Most of the time, the changes are reasonably obvious if you are observing the surroundings closely. Some are a bit harder to notice for people unfamiliar with japanese. Game is pretty short (done under 2 hours and I was also looking at a bunch of scenes and stuff). Kinda fun for a bit, somewhat tedious after that. Art is beautiful. Scenes are good, various and interesting. Animations are not very good (moving synced parts of pictures pretty much). Worth it. Play for the art.
