Amazing coop game. Story well made, combat is fun, amazing artstyle. A really well made game, you can buy it without worries.4 found this helpful
The game is extremely clunky, there's no keyboard control customization - and the default ones are horrid. Game lists 120 fps but plays like its on 30 FPS, there's absolutely nothing redeeming about it. Even the story breaks the 4th wall 15 minutes in in sad attempts of cheap humor. At one point an enemy stepped slightly to the right edge of the map such that my melee attacks would not hit it at all. Even the move list the game asks you to read shows wrong inputs on keyboard.3 found this helpful
When I played the demo a few months back, I was left with mixed feelings. The game looked gorgeous, but felt a bit sluggish. To my delight, getting the key for the full release today completely changed my mind. This is honestly one of the best beat ’em up games I’ve played since arcade halls went out of fashion. The game actually has a story, delivered with solid voice acting and a good sense of humor. The visuals are beautiful and detailed, and the variety of moves and playable characters really makes the gameplay shine. On top of that, the 4-player co-op mode is an absolute blast — nothing like teaming up to punch and kick your way through hordes of enemies while trying to deliver dragon eggs to… well, I won’t spoil the story. Of course, I do have one small criticism. Just one. The price feels a bit on the high side for a game of this type. Maybe it sounds cynical coming from someone who got a free key, but hey — that’s never stopped me from being honest. Video: https://youtu.be/Zmya2VSjBzY3 found this helpful
My kids love coop beat-em-ups, and this one looked promising. But unfortunately, I just don't think it's a good game. Endless dialogue, the story lost me when it broke the fourth wall for absolutely no reason, the balancing is very uneven between normal levels and bosses, and jumping over stones feels like a chore, not like an actual part of the game. It's a pity because we like the characters and their moves.1 found this helpful
From the moment you land as one of the dragon-bound Dragon-Souls in Heroes of Mount Dragon, it’s clear this game breathes heart. The hand-drawn 2D style brought to life in 3D is gorgeous, and transforming mid-battle into a dragon form is genuinely thrilling. Combat is accessible yet satisfying — combos flow well, dragon abilities bring fiery spectacle, and couch or online co-op up to four players is a riot. And let’s not forget the playful curses that’ll shrink or flip your co-op pals at the worst times — pure chaos energy done right. But it’s not perfect yet. Level and enemy variety lean into repetition pretty fast, and some finicky mechanics (like strict vertical alignment needed for hits) can trip you up. Visually and tonally, it shines. Just hoping future content and tweaks help it really soar. Worth a shot if you love nostalgic squad brawlers and dragon-morphing mayhem.1 found this helpful
One of the most generic and clunky side scroller beat 'em ups you'll ever play. Gameplay trailer makes it look like it would be intriguing and polished, but in reality the actual experience is simply frustratingly clunky, boring and unfun after the first few moments. The sad reality is, if it had received more polish, balance and refinement, it could have been decent, but as it stands, this will not keep your attention for very long.
