Great puzzle game! :3

[b]7.5/10[/b] Find your way to the fly in this sokoban-like pathfinder where parity and polarity become the most important things to consider for success. [b]What is it:[/b] Imagine waking up as a frog, starving. You exit your brick and mortar home and see a fly. Tongue flies out. Fly slips to the right. Tongue flies out again - flies to the left. Looks like you gotta tackle this pest if you’re gonna fill your belly. You jump at the buzzer but end up landing right behind it. Flip around and jump at it again - landing again right behind it. If only you could jump one space instead of two, but frogs were not built this way. Legs are just too strong for one space. Off in the distance you see a box. Out comes your tongue slipping right past the fly. This time it's ok because you have another plan. Your tongue smacks into the box and you begin pulling. You get the box right behind the fly and jump again. SMACK!! You hit the box face on and land right on top of the fly. Into your belly it goes and back to bed you return. Another successful day. Time to rest. Hopping Out turns the idea of moving two spaces by default into its primary gimmick. How do you get the fly if it's s…

I do not tend to play puzzle games very often, so I didn't know what to expect going into this. What I received was an incredibly fun and thorough game that was consistently engaging and innovative the entire way through. As it progresses, the difficulty escalates accordingly, but it never feels too overwhelming to the point where I ever felt like I *couldn't* beat a level. It's a great game to pick up, play, and take a break from as you see fit. Surrounding the levels is an endearing little world with enough personality to give the game a unique soul, and I enjoyed interacting with every NPC as they appeared. The few cutscenes that exist were always a pleasant surprise whenever they appeared. The game is also jam-packed with content, far more than I was expecting it to have. Every time I thought it'd run out of things to offer, it'd introduce a new mechanic, a new world, new music, and plenty of cosmetic unlocks to spice up the frog's style. Even after the game ends, it rewards you with one last bonus world with appropriately difficult levels to round out the adventure. There's also Uncle Toad. Fun puzzle game that I found to be the perfect length. Also a good balance in difficulty where I was able to beat the game without a guide. Even the most difficult puzzles can be thought through and the undo button allows you to experiment more quickly. Overall quite a fun game!
