It's okay if you don't care about creating a herd. I wish there was a casual mode, or a way to define other rider types. The screenshots show racing around a field and over walls with no other riders, which I'd enjoy. Unfortunately, the AI riders are very aggressive and can gather horses much more quickly than the player. For example, in one game (they are timed), I had only seen maybe half a dozen horses and one AI had already gathered over 20 horses. Before I quit, I gave up on gathering horses and focused instead on jumping jumps. Being the first one to clear a jump gives you $1 (I could get about $4 per game this way) and gathering horses (in my experience) gives you up to $10. The only thing I could find to spend money on was different horse colors, which cost at least $50. As the game exists now, I cannot recommend it. With some balancing or options to control how aggressive AI riders are (like in civilization games), I'd find it more enjoyable.1 found this helpful
