About Hover The Edge
Sometime in the future, you're hired by a well-funded group of individuals that uses time travel to cautiously extract ancient artifacts from secret locations just before they are destroyed by an apocalyptic event, not to mess with the timeline, of course.
As an Extractor in Hover The Edge, you'll be dispatched to an exotic island to recover the Sword of Souls, a weapon forged in another dimension to protect the human world from otherworldly threats, you'll be armed with a futuristic hoverboard and a combat suit, these will allow you to recover the artifact and return to base before the apocalyptic event.
Extracting isn't easy but it sure is exciting! Use your body movements with snowboarding-like balance control to steer while boosting, jumping or flying through beautiful locations, dodge deadly obstacles and collect pickups which, with some luck, may make the journey easier for you.
Hover The Edge's gameplay is challenging, exciting and quite intense, in the game, you'll be hovering through Kamilu Island which consists of several changing environments which are randomly generated using your body movements to steer and your controllers to boost, break and jump to avoid deadly obstacles and collect pickup items.
*Please take it easy at first if you tend to get motion sickness in VR.

Hover the Edge is an Early Access VR exclusive adventure game where you control a hoverboard and must traverse each game level within 10 minutes. The assets look like they're probably flipped from the Unreal Marketplace. Gameplay is unpolished. This seems to have been made a VR exclusive to prevent any comparison with non-VR 3D games, a comparison that this game would fail very badly at. Developers must learn that while VR is great, if the only thing that makes the game great is the VR, then the game isn't great at all. The game is deeply in development hell, and blew past the committed date for completion several months ago. The game hasn't had any updates in months and there's no apparent pathway for it to be completed. The game isn't truly free either as content is intended to be locked behind DLC, in the unlikely event the game is ever completed. Due to the incomplete nature of the game and the other flaws with it, I can't recommend it.4 found this helpful

[h1]Hover The Edge[/h1] I personally find that [b]Hover The Edge[/b] has the potential to become a fun game for casual VR Consumers, though there are a few issues that I have with it. Issue Nr. 1: I generally find the game to be too difficult. I personally find, that the start of the game directly throws you into something that I'd consider a late-game stage. I find the start to be too narrow and too persciece for the first corridor until you reach a checkpoint. So you can see where I am going with this, I'd recommend making the start of the game easier for people like me or you could also add a difficult option, if possible. Issue Nr. 2: The player doesn't track my head. I'd recommend making the player head follow the VR Headset I am on (Valve Index). I find this to be quite a annoying thing, as it seems to mess with the head-titled rotation. Issue Nr. 3: I find that there should be an option for rotation with your head or with a stick. This isn't a large issue, though I think that it would be nice if the developer added an option for stick rotation, as I find that the body rotation mode isn't my cup of tea. "tilt your head" in reality its just where you look, which is a pain. grappling hooks for sharp corners would be cool1 found this helpful
[h1]Before I played Hover The Edge, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good[/h1]
