About HRDINA
The game HRDINA is about a hero that goes from a game to the real world.
Levels are generated by analyzing music which is provided by Czech band Zrní.
The whole music album "Hrdina počítačový hry jde do světa" (Hero of computer game goes to the world) is used to generate the level and set the mood of the game.
It is a simple platformer, however the perspective of the view is changing and in some levels and each one adds some new concept or obstacle type to the game.
While progressing thru the levels you witness the struggle of the hero using contextual queues, like "takable text", obstacles and sometimes heroes commentary.
Find out how does the heroes story ends and unlock music in the bonus menu using keys scatered in the level.
The content of the game is specificaly tailored to the content of the music and it's lyrics.
Even though the lyrics are Czech, the main character speaks using comics like bubbles to explain the plot.
Steam achievements are also present ! so get colleting ;)
The game is translated to Slovak, Czech and English languages.

Wouldve been better off not existing in the first place. ONLY redeeming quality is the music, which is actually kinda good. The "gameplay" is god awful. Download for a quick hour experience with a surprisingly difficult midgame.

Игра 'HRDINA' оставила после себя смешанные чувства. С одной стороны, визуальный стиль подкупает своей мрачной атмосферой и отлично передает ощущение безысходности, присущей старым славянским легендам. Музыкальное сопровождение тоже на высоте, создавая напряжение и подчеркивая драматизм происходящих событий. Однако, геймплей показался несколько однообразным. Боевая система, хотя и требует определенной тактики, быстро приедается из-за ограниченного набора движений и противников. Сюжет, поначалу интригующий, к середине игры теряет динамику и становится предсказуемым. Самым большим разочарованием стала оптимизация. Даже на мощном железе наблюдаются просадки FPS, что негативно сказывается на общем впечатлении. В целом, 'HRDINA' - это атмосферная игра с интересным сеттингом и неплохой музыкой, но нуждающаяся в доработке геймплея и оптимизации. Рекомендуется только поклонникам славянской мифологии, готовым мириться с техническими проблемами.
Apart from winning the contest The Best Slovakian Game 2019 and not having slovak audio or translation at all its it most buggy experience i has so far... From level generation that is 50/50 if you can continue or bug in wall to bosses and enemies making the progress just spam enter and hope you win by some chance If the game was done in game jam its cool but if that won a price as release shame on ya devs... Fix that pls and it will be a great game <3
