Liked this game, strange that release is so silent with not so much feedback. Cozy graphics, interesting dialogues, numerous weapons, upgrades and their combinations. Multiple endings. And of course, thanks for the charming Kottr ^^9 found this helpful
Very disappointing, I was actually looking forward to playing this game, was excited when I saw it actually kept my progress from the demo as well, however that's as far as I go. I got a quest to build a lighting rod, but the game doesn't tell you where or what you need, so i spent my time doing runs until i got bored, tried starting a new game from a fresh save file, only to have the game freeze on the opening task where you have to move for the first time, so I had to tab out and back into the game, then when I got to the first NPC, the game froze after I pressed to talk, nothing happened so I had to alt4 the game to leave. So far a buggy launch, the lack of information, unclear directions and very slow game play needs to be addressed. The combat needs rework, using the special attack is pointless most of the time as its so slow to use, the lack of options in the settings menu and lack of optimisations causes a lot of stuttering when you get to a roof with a lot of enemies. I say all this in hopes that the devs work on improvements and make this game better, for now I will recommend in hopes that its not just a cash grab but a passion project, also the game is cheap so wh…9 found this helpful
It hurts to give this a negative review, but this game is severely lacking polish to the point of simply not being fun to play. Hades is my favorite game. When a game tries to copy aspects of Hades, I feel at home pretty quickly. I love SWORN, for example. But this game is simply not polished enough to be fun. Pros: - Interesting premise - Copies Hades boons Cons: - Gameplay/combat does not feel good - Lack of polish in all areas including bugs like boons not working (Critical Dash) - Metaprogression starts way too late to hook the player. This isn't even a roguelite until after a few deaths. - After 2 hours I have only seen one weapon (that does not feel very good to play) - All runs feel the same for the most part during that initial phase where the player needs to be hooked. - Main character is mean to the cat I'm sorry, but if you want to copy parts of Hades, you need better and quicker hooks and the game needs to feel good to play.1 found this helpful
