About Impire

✦ AI summary

Lead the demon Báal-Abaddon as he rebuilds his dark empire by constructing an evil dungeon, recruiting creatures, and crushing heroes who dare challenge him. Blend dungeon management, tactical combat, and card-based customization as you expand your underground lair and terrorize the surface world in solo, co-op, and multiplayer modes.

Deep in the underworld of Ardania, a threat of the most evil nature grows and multiplies with an appetite for destruction that is unsurpassed. Summoned from the depths of the Bottomless Pit, the (once) mighty Báal-Abaddon has been torn from his throne of skulls and imprisoned in an earthly body of less-than-imposing stature (he's an Imp, OK?) to serve the none-too-competent sorcerer Oscar van Fairweather. But unfortunately for Fairweather, the luck of the damned is on Báal's side and he soon breaks free to build his own dark and majestic... Impire.

Take control the of demon Báal-Abaddon as he attempts to rebuild his mighty hell spawn form. With the aid of dozens of evil creatures big and small as well as an arsenal of spells, you will help him construct a dungeon underworld of limitless evil and nastiness to stop all those pesky Heroes of Ardania from ruining his return to greatness!

Nah, don't even bother to give this thing a try , better learn from my mistake. I dont even think this thing deserves to carry a literal 3 digit price tag, but what a devaluation of money it is that. You can say the game is not my type but No, the game is literally not anyone's type for Goblins and demons sake. Though there were no visual crashes and bugs, but there is not a single factor or inch of a Pros I find in this game. Lackluster campaign, clunky and god-knows-what-they-actually-want-us-to-do type controls and objectives (Seriously, the only objective to either uninstall this or hammer-smash your system out of frustration), no story whatsover (atleast I didn't get any idea of entire campaign), combat, gameplay, camera controls, movement (Trash in every respect) Many-a-times you just don't know what to do, how to do it, because there is no such thing built in the game that will let you track the useful stuff and instead giving you useless pieces and bits of information all the time serving no purpose at all. At some points, You don't even know why you are even where you are. Maybe they could have just released this project as a demo game first for the testers and players to…

This game is hard to review. Paradox took wave of "Dungeon Keeper Spiritual Successors", marketing game as such but in majesty 2 universe. When word got out that it wasn't it, game was promptly forgotten by all but the people to 100% or play multi. There is nothing "wrong" with it per se. Works well, has ok graphics, VA, even basic gameplay loop and story is ok. Problems stems with it being build with multi/co-op in mind. Pre build of runes and demon mixed with mission by mission need to of investing points to unlock same units/buildings/runes. It worked in game with and against friends. Nice, hectic kind of fun. Now the servers are dead and for solo player you are left with campaign that, because of long, repeated process of building the dungeon, turns into boring slog with 2-3 cutscenes filled with ok to meh jokes. Recommended only on heavy discount as sort of memory mark of both DK trend and Paradox watering down Majesty world with spin-offs. Im giving positive marking for fun I had with it, but for sake of honesty and clarity, please consider it negative review. Not like it matter for game forgotten by time.

Well, cant tell you why. Or what exactly it was but it didnt Hit, it was from the first minute a dislike i had for the game. the art style is not bad and the voice acting is okayisch but the gameplay loop felt shallow and didnt offer anything i would want to play further on. guess its not my kind of game even i like base building, rts and some kind of economic chain systems. 51 of 100 cause the base is there for one or the other.

I like it, its aged in the way only a game from the early 2010's can, kinda gone off a bit but if you like cheese you'll enjoy it
