What I liked: This is obviously a game that is very inspired by the 360/PS3 era of shooters where things were definitely more simple and straightforward. That I really appreciate and the gameplay definitely feels like it's trying to replicate that. This game is definitely a work in progress and I'm sure there are plenty of optimizations to come. A lot of the guns feel good to use and most of the maps are really fun to play, though some of the larger ones take getting used to because of how the guns handle and the recoil. What I didn't like: The game definitely needs some optimization and I do agree that some of the colours can be dark which makes it hard to see enemies in some maps. The menus also need some tweaking to be more intuitive and responsive - especially when changing weapons or attachments mid game. I'd like that to be quicker considering how fast the game plays. Conclusion: This game is clearly a passion project for that 360/PS3 era of games and I think with some improvements this game will really hit home for a lot of people. Okay lets get the good things out of the way before the laundry list of bad things *THE GOOD* (1) I like the idea that someone outside of Call of Duty is attempting the killstreak system in a FPS game, With the UAV, Airstrike, and Attack Helicopter, I've longed for a game that adds this extra benefit to playing well that rewards the user for not dying and getting kills. (2) The gunplay is okay at best and rather realistic in a sense that if you ADS your shots will be down the middle but when you shoot from the hip your shots actually come from the hip and you have to try and lineup the shots that way. *THE BAD* (1) Now I'll give this game a pass because it's an "Early access" title but the game plays like a damn near PS2 game, with the movement, the lighting, the animations that pop-up when you kill someone, it's rather obvious the people who made this are COD fans or at the very least are getting their ideas from COD. (2) The price point is way too high for what the game actually is, This games no where near worth the $19.99 price tag it has, this game should be MAYBE $9.99 and I would argue even that might be too high.
