Iron Madness

"Iron Madness" is a dead, abandoned Early Access attempt at making a multiplayer vehicle combat game, but the developer couldn't work out how to do online gaming so it's local splitscreen only, but that's kinda irrelevent given how badly this failed. What do you do in the game? Nothing, there's no players, no online play, it's incomplete and abandoned... just dead garbage polluting Steam. The developers abandoned this 8 years and 10 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $15 USD for this. Yeah... 15 bucks! Price barriers, especially on unfinished, low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. This is a slap in the face to anyone naive enough to back this…

Empty, unfinished, abbandoned, boring, etc. And add superlative to all of this adjectives. It would describe this game perfectly. Even for being free-to-play, it's waste of time.

It gives Twisted Metal vibes, and the feel is the same as 90's, but for the 2016 release, I was expencting something a bit more updated. Feels clunckly in many ways, but it can be fun. It's free so I'd give thumps up. I'd recommend it to only those who still have a itch for twisted metal and don't mind looking at a car that moves nothing like a car.
