But beware — enemies will constantly attack, threatening your island and your people. You must plan wisely and protect your civilization from destruction.Every decision matters:
  • Send islanders to gather resources, or focus on upgrading equipment?
  • Concentrate on advancing technology, or spread your efforts across the island?

For a $3 game, this is pretty fun! It's similar to Stacklands, but different. First, it doesn't open in English the first time, but it wasn't too difficult to click on the spoke wheel and change the settings. There aren't many settings. Sound, music, and language. That's it. That also means there is no resolution, full screen, etc. unless you maximize the window. It works though if you just want a little side game to play. Second, my biggest gripe of the game is the lack of remembering basic recipes that you discover as you play. There is an encyclopedia that stores what you discovered, but not how you made it. Not so great if you don't have a good memory. I would like the addition of discovered recipes added to the encyclopedia. If people don't want to look at it, then that is their choice, but it keeps me from having to write notes on a scrap of paper. Last, both bought and discovered recipes do not carry over to the next game if you die. The encyclopedia entry stays, but not the recipes. Despite the "rough around the edges" lack of QOL features, this is a fun little game - especially for the price. If you are looking for a chill diversion, give this a try!
