I haven't been playing this game for very long, but it is certainly very fun. Starting with the positives: the pixel art is absolutely beautiful and the gameplay is very fun. Some things I would like to point out: any health kits used are NOT replenished between deaths which I think is completely unacceptable and I think that stamina should replenish just a smidge faster; there were some moments where I got into a tight situation and was unable to dash for another quarter of a second or so. I know this is unrelated to the gameplay, but the music, especially in the first level, just didn't feel right. It isn't bad by any means, but It was too calm for an action bullet-hell game and it felt out of place. Other than those things, I think the game is pretty tight, especially as the developer's first steam game, and I would recommend to a friend. If you're a fan of the genre, I recommend picking this one up, especially since it's still on sale.
