About It's Dark
It's Dark is an asymmetrical multiplayer (3 vs 1) survival horror game that takes place in a lab on lockdown. One player plays as the monster, who must track and kill the other players to escape the lab. Up to three other players can play as scientists, who are tasked with exploring the lab and finding a way to subdue the monster.
Features:
-The Lab is procedurally generated so each game will be completely unique.
-Making noise creates a notification ping that can alert players to your position. You'll need to be conscious of the noise you make in-game if you don't want to get discovered.
-The dark environment makes for some tense gameplay. You'll never know what might around the corner...
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There are no available servers and no player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
The idea behind this game is that there's an asymmetrical PvP focus similar to games like Friday the 13th and Dead by Daylight, this time with an SCP style lab with the monster thing escaping, and the other players having to kill the monster player before he kills them. If there were any players. It's Dark is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails. Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some of the reasons this particular game failed to appeal to gamers, despite the zero up front cost. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content.…
Good game, Little unbalanced. The goal is to find two keycards and use the terminals to start the gas and weaken the monster. However, the only hope for the science boys is the doors. Keep them open and close them on the monster. They are also necessary after the gas to keep a safe distance from him.
Honestly This is GOTY material
