Players praise the game's fun, stressful multiplayer experience and engaging concept, with developers showing good community engagement and willingness to improve. However, the game suffers from unclear tutorials and controls, poor item visibility and detection, inadequate feedback systems for player status, motion sickness-inducing headbob, and collision issues between players that can trap teammates.
I was really excited to try this game because I love checking out new indie titles, but unfortunately, it feels like it wasn’t ready for release. The biggest issue is the lack of clear instructions. For example, the game says to press Tab to see the shopping list, but you actually have to hold Tab to view it—frustrating, but manageable. It’s also unclear how to revive other players when they’re down. I assumed you’d need a first aid kit, but even after finding one, it didn’t explain what to do—do I hold E, click E, or something else entirely? The game also mentions pressing a button to drop items but doesn’t explain how to hold or select items once they’re picked up. Overall, it feels like the game has potential, but the lack of basic control explanations makes it way more frustrating than it should be. I don’t recommend this game in its current state and will be getting a refund. I’d definitely consider buying it again, even at a higher price, if these issues were fixed and the game was more polished.5 found this helpful
While the game is a bit janky from time to time, it was thoroughly fun to play with friends. Could use some polishing but the discord the devs/creators and have for the game is transparent and open to change when required. Has extremely high potential!2 found this helpful
Super thrilling game!! As someone whose also played lunch lady i'd go as far to say that it feels more stressful since jeff literally RUNS everywhere (which is terrifying but awesome). I would say the crouching needs to feel safer, it feels like were not really super crouched down when we do. haha oh yeah also i suggest making the items a little easier to detect like maybe they could emit a faint sound or like aura. I also think it would be good if the game tells you if your friends get knocked down or at least I didnt see anything like that. Also think it would be cool if there were more ways to tell if jeff was near like flickering lights. Alsoo wouuld be cool to make players not collide cause my friend trapped me in a corner and laughed all evil like. so far its really fun though!! super fun stuff cant wait for more maps!! you could add a hospital maybe?1 found this helpful
For a first time dev, it's pretty good. Shame that it's dead now, but the concepts are still fun. Very challenging to pull off solo.
OMG, headbob is horrible in this game and causes extreme motion sickness! Please add option to lower it or remove. I will change feedback once it is corrected. Otherwise the game is great.
Honestly really fun with a friend, I would say my main feedback would be to make it clear what's needed to be done next, my friend and I only found out about the hammer in our like 5th match, maybe some sort of items list at the bottom for things like the hammer. Another key issue is visibility on items, I think you oughta make them larger and have some sort of effects around them, otherwise they blend in alot and can be really really easy to miss. Especially in the cinema. Id also suggest making it so crouching lowers the player a bit more, as it appears to not hide you as much as it really should. I also wonder if it would be better to not have it so players collide, sometimes i'd block my friend in corners or in doorways and end up causing issues. Another thing I think could use improvement is audio in general. Could use more foley and ambience type stuff, as well as maybe making it a bit easier to hear jeff when he's near. I think it would be cool to see more added, I would love to see more maps/items and etc, like a haunted mansion could be really cool. Unironically really, really enjoyed the game despite a little bit of jank, it also ran pretty nicely for me which is a…
