Even if everything worked properly, I don't see how this game could get any traction. There is nothing interesting here. The story is simply, "There is evil in the world and your pet got attacked by something." The first companion gets in your way during combat and the first quest has the line "I was looking for a quest to do, as if your dog wasn't just murdered.
