Not Recommended Kebab Star Prologue just isnt it if your looking for a cooking sim. It leans on AI-generated content and cheap visual gimmicks, while the storyline wanders with no real direction. Even the core kebab-making gameplay is riddled with glitches and unnecessary steps, making the whole experience feel inconsistent and unfinished. Usually I can come to appreciate poor effort simulators but this is pure AI slop that genuinely rots your brain. Although the dev seems to be open about disclosing how AI is used it still seems to be overpowering and empty feeling, it doesn't have that authentic clunkiness, the so bad it's good quality. It just feels soulless. The story that I played had no plot and was jumping around everywhere both plotwise but AI art-style wise.. cmon guys it's not that hard to ask all prompts to be in the same style... It also seems that since this game got a full release (that I obviously won't purchase, and don't recommend you doing either) it is over priced, poorly managed and is botted for positive reviews. The only positive reviews come from blank accounts with this game being their only and the developer immaturely replies to genuine reviews like a child. Clearly this vision of prioritising consumers thoughts is thrown out the window and the game is instead a cheap money grab. The idea itself could be fun and ironic, and the idea of the absurdity is genuinely something I love to see, but this clearly isn't it.1 found this helpful
Had a blast with this prologue. It's more than just a cooking sim; managing the orders and the shop's reputation is genuinely fun. The controls are intuitive, and the atmosphere is lighthearted. Eagerly waiting for the full release!1 found this helpful
