In Keeplanet, you create your own history - there’s no right or wrong way to play! Become a world’s landlord, spread out trees, mountains, houses and other objects to make the planet rotate around its axis. Remember, the most important thing is not to let the planet stop. Otherwise, all inhabitants of the planet will die out from sunburn or freezing.

Keeplanet seems like more of a tablet/mobile game than a full PC game. It's a low poly/simplistic art tower defense/physics puzzler hybrid where you need to "build" a planet by placing structures on the planet to defend against incoming threats, but you also need to make sure the planet isn't imbalanced, or it will stop spinning and it's game over. The game isn't perfect and while it looks like a lot of effort went into it, I am not sure that effort was applied to proper gameplay testing. There's no real functional cues about the planet spin or how balancing works, so it's a frustrating experience, even though it's also central to the gameplay. The gameplay style here isn't really suited to PC gaming and doesn't seem to be aimed at the core PC gaming audience. Perhaps the developers would have better success with this on mobile. The price is certainly right, but I feel they could charge more for it if they fixed the problems with the game. Regardless, Valve asks: "Do you recommend this game?". As it is? You have to balance your planet by putting new buildings into it. Balancing is tough to get as its hard to get it right as there isn't a more accurate instrument to keep it rotating properly. I like the idea and the concept but i find it though to manage. I had to give it some tries to get the 2nd level right. And the 3rd level i still havent managed to complete after some tries. Other than the bit hard difficulty, the game seems ok and plays well.2 found this helpful
It had a really intriguing concept but there are too many flaws to outweigh it's potential.
Honeslty, I don't find it interesting. Completely forgot I had it for years. Can't refund it, but it was just a dollar. Play if you want, I'm not a fan
A small cheap game with a decent hook. Wished it had a stronger story though
