Planet Finder

This game went from cute and relaxing to "Oh hellllllll no" as soon as you see the "Earth Supplies" number counting down. I just wanted to find planets, I don't wanna supply earth! BOOOOOO.

Having storage locked at 300 is a choice, and a bad one at that. The game's casual with some chill music, and you just fly around to different planets to take their resources and return them to Earth. it's a cool idea and mostly works, but as you have to fly farther and farther away to find some of the planets, that 300 resource storage limit is a huge negative for me. Spent 10 minutes playing and found a handful of planets, but no desire to jump back in. I guess for the price it was an alright purchase.

Incredibly boring, if you miss one planet it takes forever to find it, like im looking for a missing person in the ocean.

Great little game. As you can read elsewhere, you're exploring the solar system for other planets that contain resources that you then deliver back to Earth before it runs out of its own resources and the game ends. Using Earth's current resource pool, you're able to upgrade your ship's storage (to collect more resources from other planets per trip), radar (to detect planets at greater distances), and rate at which the Earth loses its resources. Once you've fully upgraded this last one, the Earth's resource pool remains about steady as you explore (actually increasing slightly over time) and you don't have to worry about return trips as you close the game out. I found that the game became slightly less interesting once I was fully upgraded and only trying to find the last few planets, but leading up to that was a blast. I lost a few times before realizing there were upgrades/understanding how to use them effectively, but even with these failed attempts, the whole experience from start to finish was ~45 minutes. A surprising gem, even in it's early state. The gameplay is simple yet engaging and relaxing. I'm excited to see where the game goes as it develops.

Very short, but relaxing. Like it stabilizes after you do a few runs, which is fine. But there is nothing to really do after that. Which is fine, it is super cheap after all and well worth the price. Just be prepared to be surprised with how short it is.
