What Steam players say

Players appreciate this indie platformer as a quick time-killer with genuine effort behind it, praising its lack of monetization and authentic development, but consistently criticize the amateurish hand-drawn art style, clunky controls, and janky hitboxes that detract from the experience. The game offers some replay value and a decent skill tree, though it suffers from unpolished mechanics, unfairly difficult instant-kill obstacles, and diminishing content as you progress through the levels.

It's not a bad game. It could have a better control layout.2 found this helpful
"Kletba Vlčího Moru" is an indie 2D oh god my eyes. Seriously, this is hand drawn eastern bloc platformer where the developer didn't quite understand the premise of hand drawn art. See, in order to do a game with hand drawn art, you have to know how to draw. This would probably look better in pixelcrap than the elementary school artwork here, and that's saying something. Anyway, there's more to a game than the graphics, and this fails that part too. It's clunky, it's trying to be a metroidvania but fails... at least this is sincerely made, it's not an asset flip, there's no cash shop... I suppose we must be grateful for small mercies. This has some really mediocre looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarly visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers,…1 found this helpful

very thick game
A nice small game to kill some time. Takes about 45 minutes with replay elements addign an hour or two on top. Combat can be a little difficult for newcomers, but it's nothing terrible. Skill tree is nice, though there aren't many abilities and by the time you reach the second area, you have basically nothing to unlock. The levels are nice, albeit the second and third are much shorter than the first. My biggest gripe with the game is the jankiness - I understand it's short and simple and also made by a few students, but sometimes controls don't react properly, hitboxes can act funky etc. Also the instakill obstacles are just cheap. By the way, if you're going to 100% this game, make sure to be saving your save file fro m AppData just in case you die to some cheap thing. Takže asi tak, fajn malá hra na zabití času, ale žádný majstrštyk
