RPG Maker strikes again! Lamia's Plan is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. This is particularly badly made even for an RPG Maker asset flip. The developer, questioning why RPG Maker games are universally reviled as crap, decided the way to fix the problem was to make this RPG Maker asset flip look awful, with a blue/monochrome pallete swap for all the crappy flipped RPG Maker stock assets. And they threw in some of their own "baby's first Wacom tablet" drawings/scratchings. We can tell these are hand made because they look even more crap than the RPG maker assets. The story? Pretty short and nothing special, but for the asking price it delivers. I like it when RPGM games do something interesting, even if that something is only a change in color and lighting.
