About Landmaster
Hey, I’m making Landmaster – a pixel-art RPG where you get tossed into a big, living world full of strange creatures and secrets waiting to be found. It’s a mix of survival, crafting, and building:
- Gather resources and craft tools, weapons, and magical artifacts
- Build and defend your base against dangers that lurk in the Kingdom
- Explore different biomes, from quiet forests to dangerous ruins
- Unravel the mystery of an ancient curse that’s tearing the land apart

Hi At the moment, there are still too many bugs in the game that spoil the fun. For example, the Scarecrow Quest. You can no longer get back through the gate. Or there is no display in the workbench menu showing the construction status. There is also no display in the tool wheel showing the status of the tools themselves. Otherwise, the game doesn't look bad and I hope the developer continues to work on it.8 found this helpful
Removal Announcement done Oct 2025:https://steamcommunity.com/app/2848680/eventcomments/845114064658053619/?tscn=1776724622
End of Development Notice Hello everyone, After careful consideration, I’ve decided to stop development of Landmaster. The main reasons are: I underestimated the scope of development., I don’t have enough free time alongside my full-time job., Realistically, it would take at least 5–6 months (under ideal conditions) to reach an alpha version, and much longer with limited time. Because of that, I’ve decided to end development rather than leave the project unfinished. I’m already in contact with Steam Support about removing the game from the store. If you purchased the game, please request a refund so you don’t lose money on something that won’t be completed. If for some reason you can’t request a refund, please message me - I’ll make sure to note your info and try to offer a replacement or access to my future games once they’re ready. Thank you all for your support and understanding. I’ve learned a lot from Landmaster, and I’ll be focusing on smaller, more manageable projects in the future.
Now In April. Game still on Steam. so Abuse of Ste…5 found this helpful
I think it is a fantastic work in progress. I hope the developer doesn't stop. I hope we can all get a few people to buy it see it become a success and quit his full time job. We need more indy developers like this.4 found this helpful
Like the dev said in the Early Access Notes: "The game is still in a very early stage - it's buggy and missing a lot of content. But the core idea is there" I couldn't have said that any better. It's buggy (mostly graphical bugs like an icon disappearing/turning white) - but definitely playable. And it's missing quite some features - just look into the other reviews for that. But I like it, because: - the design is beautiful --> Very nice to look at and still easy to understand - the animations are great - the music is quite nice - the sounddesign is really good - the core gameplay is fun - the quests are nice If the Dev continues to work on it, the game really could become quite impressive. That's why I'll recommend it (as an Early Access Game) even with the current bugs and missing features. It's got a lot of potential. And the stuff that's been implemented by now really shows the vision for the future of the game. Last thing though: I've had one major issue: I wasn't able to save the game (even after sleeping and pressing the save icon). Maybe I just missed something, idk. But I'll try again in the near future, I hope this will be fixed (or explained).4 found this helpful
Unfinished, buggy and crashes. Sadly 1/10.
