Fantastic fun little game very cozy, beautiful graphics, not too difficult not too easy. Well worth a play.

A fun, cozy exploration game with gorgeous scenery, some neat music, and an adorable little ray companion. As other reviews have stated, there are some bugs to contend with. But, particularly for a student project, there's still a lot to love. The environments are varied and great to look at, and each different zone has its own fitting soundtrack. Also I have to be honest, the little manta ray might be one of the cutest animal friends I've ever seen in a game. It's a short and sweet experience, but it left me wishing we could learn more about this world. I hope the developers have gone on to do great things.

its so calming and the stingray is so cute, luv it! but the controls are a bit annoying and sometimes it glitches me in the same place and doesnt let me move unless i respawn

I definitely recommend this game. LAY is an absolutely adorable and relaxing experience that completely surprised me. Going into it, I expected a simple free game, but what I got was a charming adventure with a relaxing atmosphere, enjoyable puzzles, and a lot of heart. What impressed me most is that this game was created by students. There is so much talent and potential on display here that it's honestly exciting to think about what these developers might create in the future. I genuinely hope I come across one of their future projects someday because if this is what they can achieve as students, I can't wait to see what they do next. The world is charming, the gameplay is relaxing, and the puzzles are engaging without ever becoming frustrating. It's the perfect game to unwind with after a long day and simply enjoy the journey. I was honestly shocked that this game is free. It feels like a project that had a lot of care and passion poured into it, and it shows in every part of the experience. If you're looking for a relaxing game with a little puzzle solving, a charming atmosphere, and plenty of heart, I highly recommend giving LAY a try.

Relaxing game with puzzles and exploring. Has small bugs with the environment and the AI but nothing really annoying. 8/10

Lay is a nice cosy puzzle game where we are playing a little girl that needs to solve puzzles to restore the elements' energy. It was very enjoyable to play this game in general. Some mechanics were quite original but is was not very difficult and during the "storm" chapter, my character was stucked in the decor so I had to respawn somewhere else. In my opinion, I recommend this game for casual gamers or to people that like cosy and easy puzzle solving games.
