[h1]WAR SPACE MARINE OF THE XENOTOP MOUNTAIN![/h1] Disclaimer: I have 0 knowledge of Warhammer 40000. I guess it's space marines who shoots at space orks and dark eldars and stuff? Emperor, space pope and things like that? I do know a little bit of Warhammer fantasy but oh gods, this game throws A LOT of lore stuff towards you. But I survived! And enjoyed it so I guess if you are the same as me, a Gamebook fan then it should be enjoyable! I only bought this as having played other Gamebook adaptations from the Developer and knowing the author of the book (Jonathan Green), I thought it was worth a shot. It's not the hardest ever gamebook but it's quite devious, some parts are full of death traps but it seems that's the life of a Space Marine...It's quite fun to go around discovering new weapons and trying them on the ennemies. The battle is completely different to Fighting Fantasy where you just roll dice and hope for a higher number. It's sort of a slow, turn by turn Street Fighter brawling/shooting. Perfect run ended up with Nabor as a hood ornament and dragged to Commoragh... Still a really fun throwback and worth it for anyone who loves Black Library, Interactive Fiction and 40k. Real old-school stuff

A fun Choose your own adventure game that's finally back on Steam. A quality story filled with a variety of enemies from across the Warhammer universe including a few I was surprised to run into. If you like story book games or just Warhammer 40k in general, this is well worth picking up
