love this game. hyped for the deathwatch one.
I wanted to like this game as I love XCOM and the Warhammer franchise. But it's just tedious. Rather than build up a force of weak characters over time like in XCOM, your squad of 4 are already super strong. So to give any challenge, the game throws wave after wave of low level enemies at you. It makes the middle game missions take so long. There's no real strategy to it because there aren't percentiles to hit, like in XCOM. Instead, if you're in range, you always hit. Plus the enemies can resurrect their cannon fodder repeatedly, so you're constantly battling low level drones.

Brutally tough game but once you watch some YouTube videos it is manageable. It can be very frustrating with the random events that seem to kill your progress but somehow you can just keep trudging along. If you've built your team correctly you can get by on normal difficulty. I'm sure I made many mistakes but I managed to win at normal difficulty.
hive germ missions are so bad they actually ruin the rest of the game
