What Steam players say

I love Warhammer, but this is just not it. Rooms/Levels repeat quite often, there is nothing unique in that regard. Playing solo is incredibly hard even for normal difficulty and playing on higher difficulties you get no special rewards for doing that, 10% experience? Oh wow, yeah that is going to help a lot. Difficulties do not increase chance of getting higher tier loot. I really hate that you have barely any abilities for your character, but you can't just use them because you get overheated and then you suffer consequences, it is already bad enough that all these abilities have cooldowns and top of that you get overheat, so your main damage is your primary damage that deals ♥♥♥♥ damage. This certainly does not feel like ARPG, no true ARPG has these kinds of limits and penalties for using your abilities not to mention you only have "3" abilities at one time. Yes for warhammer, NO for ARPG.2 found this helpful
Good ARPG with a lot more endgame than most games in the genre. Recommend if you want an ARPG with a lot to do beyond just the campaign
love the game ... its like diablo but better
Really enjoy the systems and itemization. Very enjoyable ARPG absolutely dripping with 40k swag.
I've been playing this game on and off since it came out, and I really enjoy it. I like having such a game in the W40K universe.
Loved this one! I'm just sad I did not discovered it a few years back - I loved playing it now in late 2026, I would have loved playing it at launch as well. The game has most of the features that make a great arpg game - Diablo II -like itemization (even as such as sockets and runewords), varied classes and playstyles, diverse enemies and terrains, great campaign story and a lot of more room to build on it. It will give you dozens of hours to complete the story arcs, then many more hours on top to try the end-game content and various builds. As for critiques, not so many - it's pretty obvious that parts of it are now outdated and could have much more room to expand - such as graphics, a much more varied cosmetics/rewards system, more complex and varied maps, and of course more endgame options (such as maybe raids, boss kills, pvp/arenas, etc.). In conclusion - a great "little" ARPG, although now left behind by the devs and the community - I just hope they will bring themselves together and do a new one, as the foundation is sound.
