In a stroke of good fortune, you’ve enrolled in the world’s most exclusive magic school: Academy Elementinia. But on the downside, this is a world in which magic is a bit embarrassing.
Still, you've got something special. You alone have the ability to use Leximancy, a hitherto unimaginable power driven by something as fascinating as it is enchanting: language.
Leximancy is an endlessly fun branch of magic, but it is also a risk of buttock-clenching magnitude. Years ago you caused THINGS to happen, and ever since then you've been banished to the school basement with the other failures- I mean learners.
Your life as a humble basement-wizard is interrupted as Academy Elementinia is attacked by someone with a baffling agenda and a huge set of fireballs.
Don your trusty hat, ready your lexicon, become the outcast that saves the school. Or if you don’t vibe with heroics, at least cause some more THINGS to happen. After all, you're out of the basement now. Let's see what you can do.
HOW TO BE LEXIMAN
BE WORDY. Cast Leximancy spells in a unique word-based encounter system, snatching word fragments from thin air to spell out clever incantations.
BE YOU. Unravel a surprisingly wholesome story about embracing and empowering the real you. I say "surprisingly wholesome", because there's also a bit where you kick a trout.
GO ROGUE. Use your utter hooligan of a brain to figure out words, puzzles, and a variety of minigames. Summon. Soothe. Enlarge. Enrage. Explode. Have a little sleep. Succeed strangely, or sit back and enjoy your failures. There are hundreds of different ways to play this game, and the best way is your way.
GO EXPLORE. It's an absolute situation out there. The magical wilds are delirious with magic, the people of the cities hate wizards like you, and there are prisons. Wizard superprisons.
MAKE FRIENDS? Bother a chaotic cast of characters, from potion witches and sweaty musclemancers, to a bombastic policewoman and a pyromancer who's just fed up to be honest.
GET HATS. Give hats to the hat goblins, please and thank you.

Nice little game full of funny surprises and different (mini-)game mechanisms despite expectations. You can tell the small dev team loves what they are doing. Well worth the time spent playing it.
I don't think it's -better- than Undertale/Deltarune, but I -enjoyed- it much more. Cute, silly, compassionate, and none of the gameplay gimmicks in each sequence overstayed their welcome. A good, tidy experience I'm glad I got to share.
This game is clever, fun and has an intruiging story line. It also does whatever it wants in regards to what genre it is, and has as much ADHD as I do. 10/10!
the game is cool and fun i tried to play it when it first came out but wasn't able to play because my pc's language was Turkish and didn't let me cast spells that had variations in turkish like I being İ in Turkish which ultimately led me being not able to go past the tutorial of the game which makes you write "FIRE". I then changed my pc's language to english but because of that all my accaonts resetted and whenever i didnt played to game i had to manually change the language again for a better experience which then resetted my accounts on everywhere in my pc. When this first happened which is last year as i am writing this i contacted the team via their discord server. They tried helping with it and eventually found the solution i wrote a sentence ago. I didnt finish the game in the hopes of the dev team fixing this bug. I restarted the game today a year later... and it still isnt fixed. I believe the game is great and has some fun characters but i can't play it without having lots of problems. Im writing this in the hopes of the team seeing this and start taking action.
Almost good. The charm and wit of Undertale, but with less engaging gameplay and generally more of a slog. And I didn't even like Undertale.
Solid, well paced, fun narrative game. Cute, fairly simple, good humor. Don't expect intricate combat, encounters are more narrative puzzle type beats. Satisfying experience, will be keeping an eye out for the next project, whatever that may be.
